Agissar Corporation is a premier design-build contractor specializing in automated mail extraction equipment and technical service support. We have over 40 years experience providing quality maintenance and repair to a vast assortment of equipment in our industry. We are currently looking for a Part-Time Field Service Technician to service customers in the Indianapolis area. The position is primarily responsible for maintaining the onsite equipment with particular attention towards preventative maintenance. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to earn supplemental income either in retirement or in addition to other employment. Our current group of specialists come from all technical backgrounds including: · Copier/Printer Repair · Handyman · Appliance Repair · Maintenance Technician · Auto Mechanic · HVAC · Electrician · Plumber The ideal candidate will have knowledge in basic mechanical component repair and diagnostics and basic electrical component repair and diagnostics (AC/DC). They will also have good communication and customer relations skills. Machine specific training will be given onsite by a senior technician. Technicians will be responsible for their own tools as well as reliable transportation. Technicians carry a company cell phone for business communications and will be on-call Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with a 4 hour response time when called. Quarterly preventative maintenance visits are required at all sites. Amount of hours worked will vary weekly based on customer needs. Tech will be guaranteed 15 hours per week to ensure income. Training will be approximately three full days. All business related mileage is reimbursed at the IRS rate (currently.56 cents/mile) and travel time is paid at the hourly rate.
