Hi, I am looking for someone to care for my 17 year old cat for 6 weeks, beginning as soon as possible until July 22. I work in the outdoor industry and am out in the field for most of the summer. The person taking care of my cat is leaving for 6 weeks and the secondary caregiver fell through last minute. Her name is Shortstuff and she is very mellow. She mostly just sleeps and eats, she uses the litter box and I have never had any issues in that area with her. I am looking for someone who is willing to take her into their home until her current caregiver gets back into town on July 22. She has lived with other dogs and cats before, she doesn't necessarily "like" other animals, but she tolerates them and doesn't fight with them. She keeps to herself and likes her own space, if they get too close she may hiss or swat, but doesn't go looking for trouble. Please let me know if you or someone you know would be willing to help. I will purchase all the food and cat litter you'll need for that duration and will pay you "cat rent" for allowing her to stay with you. Thanks so much!
