I have a rescue that needs a new home. I picked her up on April 2, as she had just had kittens. After she was cleaned, treated for fleas, and cared for, she has become a lovely young lady. Her kittens have all been adopted (except for the last one I am keeping.) She is approx. 18 months old, based on her small size. She is a short hair, and very clean. When I first picked her up, she was so shy. But, she has warmed up to me and is now very friendly. VERY FRIENDLY. She loves to be petted. I had to keep her until the kittens were old enough. Now, she is ready to find her forever home. Obviously, she has not been spayed yet. I am waiting for the next window for the discount/free program. If this happens when you get her, I will keep you posted so that you can take her. It ranges from $0-25 depending on the county. There is a small adoption fee of $100. This is to cover her care that she has received, including the flea treatments. She has NO fleas. It is also to ensure a serious applicant. I only ask that the adopter be willing to promise to keep her indoors and NEVER declaw her. (Why is there a rehoming fee? It is to help cover the cost of caring for the cat, including bathing and treating her for fleas with the premium products, as well as to ensure that anyone taking the cat is serious about this lifelong investment. I am very particular about the quality of life I want for all my cats.) She is very friendly to other cats, but, as is normal, will need a few days to warm up to them.
