Description: The Town of Exeter is seeking a full time Foreman for the Parks & Recreation department. This position is responsible for the maintenance and repairing of parks and other facilities on a regular basis. Foreman will also assist skilled trades workers in complex plumbing, electrical, carpentry, horticulture and other trade work. Successful applicant will be detail oriented, flexible, have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Supervises laborers, hired contractors and seasonal employees. Requirements: Position requires knowledge and operation of standard tools, power equipment, horticultural practices and outdoor pool operation. Completion of a high school diploma and experience of three (3) to five (5) years. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have supervisor experience that includes training, schedules, work assignments and performance reviews. Employment application available on Town website: www.exeternh.gov
