Description

This guy needs a new home. My parents are moving to the west coast, and the fish would never survive the trip. We also have a couple dozen medium-sized tropical fish and cichlids to be re-homed. “Ed” is a 9” Texas Flowerhorn Cichlid with a big personality. He lives in a 100-gallon tank with a large pleco and a brave little yellow cichlid (the only two fish we trust to live with him, because he’s kind of a bully). Ed spends his days moving the gravel from one side of the tank to the next, and making faces at anyone who approaches. A school of six Silver Dollar Fish (or Tinfoil Barbs, I can’t remember which) share a 120-gallon tank with one little yellow cichlid and a very spunky catfish dude who looks like someone splashed silver paint on him. These puppies all need to move to a good home this summer. We are asking a $200 rehoming fee for Ed to make sure he goes to a good home, and Ed’s tank mates can go with him for no fee. The fish in the other tank can go as a group for a $50 re-homing fee. I’m listing Ed’s tank and the other tank, as well as the filters and supplies, separately. It would be wonderful if the same people who adopt the fish also purchase their tanks, but we will separate the fish into buckets for easy transport either way.
