Big Ox Junk Removal is seeking hard workers to join our team! We are a privately owned business with 1 owner, 3 trucks & 3 dump trailers. We are based out of Leander, TX but we do business all over the greater Austin area. (Liberty Hill, Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leander, North Austin, Central Austin, South Austin) What we are looking for: 2 full time/part time people (some days will be all day work & some days will be part time work- depends on jobs) Must have transportation to get to Leander so you can get to our trucks to start work. (cross streets are 183/2243) Must be comfortable driving a truck & trailer. Must be strong & able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be prepared to work in the heat, cold or rain. Be prepared to be driving a lot! Job description: This is a labor job that will include, but not limited to, junk removal, clean up, demolition, brush removal and so on. The jobs change day to day & job to job. Some times the jobs are easy like picking up a couch or mattress to cleaning out someone's garage. Then some times the jobs are hard like picking up bricks & rocks or cleaning out a hoarders house. We do smaller demo work like tearing down storage sheds, wood decks, above ground pools & fences. You will check out the customers after each job. Be prepared with a phone that can take a Square Reader. You will also turn in a check-out form after each shift. This form will have all the jobs listed that you did for the day, how/what they paid, all dump fees receipts accrued for the day & all receipts for gas, expenses and so forth. You will get on the job training to prepare you to go out on your own. Pay: Pay is 30% of your daily gross. Usually is between $100-200 a day. But can go up depending on the jobs. You will be considered subcontractors so you will be responsible for paying your own taxes. Note: We do not tolerate drinking on the job or dugs of any kind. We are looking for responsible people!
