Floor Technician (Tampa Bay Area) Compensation: $15.00 per hour Employment type: full-time We are currently seeking Floor Technicians for our commercial floor cleaning and restoration company. Technicians will report to the office at their scheduled job times, and then work at whatever job location we have scheduled. The schedule varies but is usually nights and weekends with normally 10-12 hours/shift; our standard workweek is Wednesday through Sunday, normally having Mondays and Tuesdays off, but NOT all the time. Some of the tasks that technicians perform are: cleaning, scrubbing, scraping, operating floor cleaning equipment, working with chemicals, mopping, applying grout shield, applying tile shield, and various other tasks as directed. This is a physically intensive job and candidates should be aware that there are long periods of standing, stooping, and LOTS OF kneeling involved. We are looking for a hard-working, self-starter; interested in learning our steps and processes to eventually become a Lead Technician. We do consider people with various job backgrounds.
