We are Samsara Tree care. We are a locally owned small business operating in Portland OR. We are a full service tree care company that is looking for climbers and ground workers. Positions available are both full and part time. If you are unfamiliar with the tree care industry, a typical tree care crew consists of climbers and ground workers woking in unison to complete jobs. Climbers climb in order to prune or remove selected trees, ground workers handle everything that must be accomplished from the ground such as managing ropes, sending up tools to the climber, chipping debris, maintaining a clean work site, cutting/chainsaw operation, and pruning that can be accomplished with pole or handsaw. This is a great opportunity for both experienced climbers and entry/experienced ground workers alike. What we are looking for in an employee: - Hard working - Safety oriented - Self directed - Eager to learn new skills - Enjoys being outside in all types of weather - Good communication skills - Vehicle and valid drivers lisence - Able to lift 50+ pounds For those new to the tree care industry this position is a great entryway into the tree care field.
