Job Brief We are looking for a qualified Electronics Technician to install, maintain and repair computers, tablets, phones and peripherals. You will be the one to ensure adequate functionality of a finished product. As a computer technician you must be well-versed in computer systems and electronic functions. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality. Responsibilities • Set up hardware, install and configure software/ drivers. • Maintain and repair technological equipment (e.g. computer/ tablets) or peripheral devices • Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality. • Arrange maintenance sessions to discover and repair inefficiencies. • Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference. • Audit Windows, chrome and Apple units • Computer hardware upgrade: Memory, LCD, Battery, HD • OS installation Requirements • Proven experience as electronics technician or similar role • Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components • Excellent troubleshooting skills • Very good communication abilities • Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
