Now Hiring a Full-Time Heavy Equipment Haul Driver. This position will require you to do the following: • Ability to work in excess of 10 hours a day during the peek season with minimal notice required. - This is a MUST. • Must have a current CDL and DOT medical card. • Must provide pre-employment and random drug testing. • Must be able to be to work on time had have good attendance. • Ability to work out of town with minimal notice. • Must have experience operating different brands of different equipment & different equipment. • Pickup and deliver equipment as assigned on a timely basis using a Class 8 truck with a Slide axle trailer. • Determines most efficient route based on load weight, road, and traffic conditions. • Loads and unloads equipment onto trailer. Follows all safety requirements to ensure equipment is secured properly. • Maintains a Driver’s Log Book as required by DOT regulations. • Follows DOT rules and regulations regarding oversize loads and permits. Administers daily inspection requirements. Meets all DOT driver qualifications rules and regulations. • Completes documents for invoice closeout at the end of each haul. • Monitors trip permits, overweight and length permits. Ensures proper documentation is on hand during haul. • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision required. • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.
