Dinner and Dance to support the Southern Maryland Boot Scooters as they prepare for the Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 2, 2021. The Southern Maryland Boot Scooters will be hosting their Annual Alzheimer's Benefit Dance on Saturday, August 21, 2021. The Team will be participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in LaPlata on October 2nd. All proceeds from this dance will benefit the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Food will be provided by Outback Steakhouse of LaPlata. Sandy Garrish will be our DJ. Lot of fun, food, dance and games all for a wonderful cause. The Southern Maryland Boot Scooters is an energetic group of friends who love to dance and have fun!  We dance to all types of music -- not just country -- and perform at a variety of venues, including county fairs, car shows, health fairs, nursing homes, company parties, and charity events.  We also teach line dancing at our regularly scheduled beginner line dance lessons, as well as at many of our performances. In 2018 we celebrated our 23rd anniversary!
