Oakland Green Interiors does it again with a fun workshop using Marimo Moss Balls Oakland Green Interiors has come up with another unique workshop, but this time using Marimo Moss Balls. What are Marimo Moss Balls you ask? They are made from algae tumbling through rivers and creek beds, rolling into their known ball shape. For this workshop, we are creating aquariums for these interesting plant forms to live and to create a unique decor piece. Oakland Green Interiors will provide all the material to make yours unique to you! Materials include assorted rocks & driftwood, a glass bottle, and 2 Marimo balls. Don't miss out as it is a one of kind experience here in Columbus. Marimo moss balls have been taken off the shelves from local shops due to the invasive species they may carry. Oakland Green Interiors will be receiving reliable sores of moss balls from a seller who quarantines and checks thoroughly for the species. Host Information: The class will be led by our Green Interiors Event Coordinator + local craft expert, Christine. She will walk you through a “how-to” and will be there to assist you in completing your Moss ball aquarium Event Location The event will be taking place at our production warehouse located at 2999 Silver Dr., Unit B, Columbus, Ohio (we share a parking lot with the Columbus Curling Club) Since this is an unheated and AC warehouse we advise you to dress for the weather.
