Week-long camp open to students of all skill levels! Campers will experiment with low-fire clay and discover ways to build functional pottery as well as creative sculpture — monsters and mugs, nature-inspired works, zoo creatures, and anything they dream up. Each day, we spend most of the time learning techniques and creating, with a quick break in the middle for snacks, outdoor activities, and games. Monday and Tuesday will be spent making pieces to glaze (a hard, glossy finish). On Wednesday and Thursday, campers will make work to decorate on Friday with acrylic paints, feathers, string, and more. All pottery will be ready to take home at the end of camp on Friday. *We have modified our summer programs to reduced class sizes, and added additional sanitation practices to ensure the health and safety of students and staff.
