Enjoy The Beach Boys AND Type O Negative?

I’ve loved The Beach Boys since the mid-80’s when my school choir covered a few of their songs. Type O Negative…. easily one of my “top ten” bands. I’m interested in forming a band that covers The Beach Boys, but in minor keys. Anybody else think this could be a lot of fun?
