Learn what’s happening to whiskey as it ages through a guided sensory tasting The complex chemical reactions occurring to whiskey as it ages in barrels make the science of distillation seem simple by comparison. Join our panel of industry experts to learn by tasting what’s happening to whiskey over the first several years of its easy rest inside a barrel. MUST BE 21 OR OLDER TO PURCHASE TICKETS. MUST ALSO HAVE A GENERAL OR VIP ADMISSION TICKET FOR ADMITTANCE TO THE FESTIVAL. The Kentucky Bourbon Festival is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event. No ticket cancellations or refund requests will be honored unless the festival is canceled by its organizers. Guests must be 21 or older to purchase tickets and to attend the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. A comprehensive list of allowed and forbidden items will be distributed prior to the festival. There will be a check-in location at the festival for guests to pick up their packages. Guests must claim their packages prior to the close of the festival.
