This festive, pet-friendly celebration features strutting mutts in costume, pop-up vendors selling pet-related products and treats. SCHEDULE 9 to 11 a.m.: Dog pools, yard games, and pet themed vendors will be set up outside on the lower commons for the duration of the event. 10 a.m.: Pet Parade around the campus! Bring your dog in a patriotic-themed costume for the parade! Dogs will receive a special treat at the end. Line up at 9:45 a.m. GUEST VENDORS: Pawz in Oz — Pet/owner apparel, homemade treats, and pet toys, and pet sitting business started by two local kids to support pets in need Artist KC — Custom pet paintings Barkville Bakery — Dog treat truck and boutique Beer Paws — Craft beer treats for dogs Petey's Playhouse Pet Services, LLC — Pet sitting and dog walking company More activities and vendors to be announced soon. REMINDER Feel free to bring your dog to enjoy this special event outdoors. Dogs must remain outside the Lenexa Public Market unless they are certified service/support animals. The Lenexa Public Market is an indoor food hall and marketplace near 87th Street Parkway and I-435 at Lenexa City Center.
