Fun-loving female dog to good home

Her name is Patches, she is 3 years old, fixed, current on her shots and we love her dearly. Patches is a very, very smart dog who loves to play, loves water, likes other dogs. She has a prey drive for small animals and is not suited for cats or very small dogs. She loves children and has been raised around children 6 years and older. I can't trust her with small animals and don't recommend a home for her with small children. She is a very good girl with this one exception. Patches weighs 35 pounds and is easy to take on car rides. She loves going places, especially a lake. Please look at the pictures for a glimpse of her personality. She is a goofball but is a good protector. She will chase and tree bears! She also likes to howl and "sings" like Mariah Carey. I would think the ideal home for her is with a single person or couple who want a good companion to spoil. It is very important to me that there's a connection between her and her potential new family. I am sad to have to find her a home but we have cats and she refuses to learn to leave them alone. We have worked with her but her prey drive for small animals is really strong. We are located by Bullards Bar Reservoir if you are interested in coming out and interviewing this incredible dog.
