Description

Participants will gain a holistic (spiritual, cultural and historical) understanding and appreciation of Afrikan (Black) motherhood. African (Black) women are the mothers of humanity. As we prepare to become mothers or move through our roles as mothers, it is important to have a working knowledge of the power of the Afrikan woman as mother from a spiritual, cultural and historical perspective. In this workshop, conducted by Traci Brooks (Holistic Doula, Holistic Reiki Practitioner, Afrikan-Centered Educator and Mother of Many), participants will gain a holistic (spiritual, cultural and historical) understanding and appreciation of Afrikan (Black) motherhood. The workshop is great for Afrikan (Black) mothers-to-be, mothers, grandmothers, birth workers and anyone who loves to learn! Early bird (registration by 07/01/21) and group (3 or more) rates at $60 For more information, contact Traci Brooks at: [email protected] | 210-303-7337
