The Summer Outdoor Adventure Series allows you step outside of your comfort zone with other black professionals in Hampton Roads. This is the first event for The Connect 757's Summer Outdoor Adventure Series! We are excited to get back outside and step outside of our comfort zones. For our first event, we will be going horseback riding at Cobbs Stables in Suffolk, Virginia where we are able to learn the techniques, meet other black professionals, and enjoy learning something new in 2021. This will be an introductory course to horseback riding where we will learn basic trail safety, how to ride, parts of the saddle and parts of the horse. Each person will get an opportunity to be led around the outdoor field which last approximately 10-15 minutes. Our instructor, Anthony Boatner is also a member of The Buffalo Riders Riding Club and will be sharing some local history of black cowboys with us.
