An Intimate Five Course Dinner Club of Avant-Garde Cuisine. Summer of 2021, Transplant & Root Hospitality will present The Table in partnership with CookLoft @ Venue 221 Downtown Knoxville. Guests will experience a five course menu with expert beverage pairings from DL of Downtown Wine & Spirits. Tickets will become available Monday June 14 @10:00 AM, purchasable individually at $80.00 per person, plus applicable fees & taxes. Guests are welcome to Bring Their Own Beverage or purchase the Pairing Package at $35.00 per person directly through DL of Downtown Wine & Spirits (865.525.7575). Complimentary Still & Sparkling water for all guests. Membership Complimentary, Gratuity Not Included. Transplanted from backpacking America & growing his career in Georgia, Florida & ending with a decade in Chicago, Michelin Starred Chef, Brian Runge hand prepares Avant Garde, multi course menus using modern technique with an artistic approach. Esperanza Castillo Runge grew up in the Foothills of the Smokies then experienced travel, school, community organizations, career & leisure in Argentina, North Carolina, Colorado alas, landing in Chicago for fifteen years. She replanted with husband, Brian & their two sons in 2017. Esperanza provides experienced travel advise along with personalized concierge services such as private tourism, local premier packages & en suite Concierge arrival amenities. The first of us to Transplant from Chicago was DL Bergmeler. He is the General Manager of local artisanal beverages at Downtown Wine & Spirits & our colleague of wine service at every culinary experience with Brian & Esperanza. Transplant & Root also provides our plate ware, silverware, glassware, linens and table decor. The three of us customize every experience for our guests & clients. Creators of a new hospitality concept, named Transplant and Root. Michelin Starred Chef, Brian Runge and Esperanza Castillo are in process of licensing, insuring and branding a hospitality concept that will broaden the current cuisine scene of Knoxville, consult new restaurant groups/hotels and offer luxury services to Downtown Knoxville tenants, guests and tourists. Their current extension of creativity is a season of Pop up Dinner Scene. Chef Brian creates a multi course adventurous meal using modern technique with artistic approach. Esperanza assembles the ambiance and service with an open table to anyone with a ticket. Their modern approach to cuisine shatters the glass of stiff service. With food that speaks louder than the raw, elegant decor. With eclectic wines to elevate your meal as much as the music.
