Join us for a visit from the animal ambassadors of Animal Wonders. Have you ever wondered why a beaver’s tail is flat? Or if opossums can hang from their tail? Do you think a tail could save an animal’s life? Join us for a visit from the animal ambassadors of Animal Wonders to answer all your questions and learn the tales behind the tails. Animal Wonders is a local animal rescue and education center that provides care for displaced non-releaseable wild and exotic animals and offers educational programs to the public. Since 1894, the Missoula Public Library has been working to provide programs, materials, and services to meet the informational, cultural, recreational, and educational needs of its patrons in Missoula County.  Much has changed in the intervening years but two things have not changed: the library’s commitment to providing useful and relevant materials and the staff’s commitment to providing great service.
