Fast paced project in South Austin is looking to immediately hire an Assistant Superintendent and some good laborers. There is 3-4, possibly 6 weeks left on the job. Lots of work to get done. Looking for hungry individuals that want to show up and work, drama free and with a little bit of pride behind what they are doing. All candidates MUST be able to focus and follow simple instructions. These are contracted positions and pay good wages weekly. Pay depends on experience. Reliable transportation and a positive attitude required. Assistant Superintendent - Must have your own hand and small power tools. Any large power tools needed will be provided. Extensive knowledge of construction IS NOT necessary but, at a minimum, completing a punch list without much supervision and being able to notice if something is out of place when walking units are extremely important. A good portion of your time will be spent working alone and updating the Superintendent throughout the day. Some daily clean up work and moderately heavy lifting is required. Experience operating a Bobcat is a bonus. Laborers - General site cleanup and moderately heavy lifting required. Construction experience IS NOT necessary but you may help the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent at times. Must be able to stand for considerable amounts of time and stoop, bend, lift, pull, load etc. Experience operating a Bobcat is a bonus.
