Are you ready to get back into your fitness routine, but still hesitant to workout indoors? Do you want to be social and workout in a group setting in a beautiful environment? Good News! I'm offering Pilates Mat classes in Grant Park every Monday evening through July at 6PM. Class is 45 Min and Open Level. Class max 12 people 6:00 - 6:45pm HOW TO SIGN UP: Go to my website and send $10 via PayPal or Venmo with your email, phone, & class date you will be attending in the notes section. DETAILS: * Waiver must be signed before taking class * Bring a mat, towel, and water bottle * Hand sanitizer and sanitary wipes will be available *Class props will be provided when necessary. Mats will not be provided. * Please arrive a few minutes early to grab your spot and to discuss any injuries, limitations, etc that you may have with me prior to class *If class is rained out, I will still hold class via Zoom and send a link day of class. *Please note the closest bathroom facilities are on opposite side of the park, so please plan accordingly. Wellness offers nutrition and skincare programs to help achieve your goals. Cultivate. Retreats offers nourishment for your spirit through great workouts, delicious wholesome food, fun interactive activities, and strengthening new and existing friendships. Growing up in North Carolina, Samantha played sports and danced, but fell in love with fitness after college when she decided she needed a change after gaining 40lbs and feeling unfulfilled and exhausted from working in the Fashion Industry. Over the years she has tried every fad diet and fitness trend and finally realized after much trial and error, the best way to feel good in your own skin is eat whole, nutrient dense foods, find a workout or exercise that you love, listen to your body, and a little wine and pizza never hurt anyone. After multiple injuries from overtraining, Samantha's PT suggested taking Pilates classes and she immediately fell in love with the practice. After seeing how Pilates helped her heal from former injuries and made her body move and feel better, she couldn't wait to share the practice with others. Samantha has been teaching Pilates since 2015 and TRX and Strength classes since 2017. Her teaching style is Pilates inspired movements, focusing on muscles that improve posture and proper movement patterns. She likes adding in some cardio boosts to get your heart rate up and burn more calories. Her workouts are tough, but focused on proper form and keeping the mood light and fun. Samantha also teaches Myofascial Release and Mobility which can be integrated within her classes or privates as needed. You will leave her workouts feeling lengthened, strengthened, and a little sore in the right places.
