SARASOTA, FL — A 50-year-old Sarasota man was charged with 18 counts of possession of child pornography, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said in a news release. In April, detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children after a video depicting child pornography was uploaded to Dropbox. Through their investigation, detectives used the IP address used to upload the video to identify William LaMoore as the suspect. William LaMoore faces 18 counts of child porn possession, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said. (Sarasota County Sheriff's Office)Detectives found that LaMoore's Dropbox account contained 18 child pornography videos with victims ranging from 5 to 15 years old, the sheriff's office said. LaMoore was arrested Thursday and remains in custody without bond as the investigation continues.
