This training will teach you the basic skills required to operate a drone. Hosted by the La Crosse Police Department  Piloting an Unmanned Aircraft The student will develop their skills and pilot the sUAS in an outdoor environment under the direct supervision of an FAA certified flight instructor. The student will master a series of flight maneuvers and scenario based training. The following skills will be developed. About the Instructor: Bill Bongle is a retired police captain with over 30 years experience in public safety.  He has developed training programs for personal, commercial and public safety drone operators. Bill owns and operates Titletown Drones, a drone training service provider, DJI retailer and aerial photographer. Bill is the founder of the Green Bay Area Drone User Group. Other Qualifications: -Certified Remote Pilot-Bachelor’s Degree; Concordia University-Developed and delivered drone training programs to hundreds of public safety officials across the nation-Trained hundreds of commercial and public saftey drone pilots-Licensed retailer by the State of Wisconsin-Authorized DJI Retailer
