19-Year-Old Sustains Life-Threatening Injuries in Crash

CLEARWATER, FL — A 19-year-old man was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with life-threatening injuries after crashing early Monday morning on Landmark Drive. According to Clearwater police, Daniel Rosinski was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Suburban south on Landmark Drive at 1:45 a.m. when it veered out of control near Meadow Hill Drive, left the road, flipped over and ejected Rosinski. It came to stop on top of a fire hydrant, damaging the hydrant and causing a hole to form amid the water leak, sending a large amount of dirt into the roadway. Rosinski was found laying in the road in several inches of water by witnesses. Speed and impairment may have been factors in the crash.
