CORTEZ, FL — The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is seeking public assistance in finding an endangered woman who went missing Sunday around 9 p.m.
Natalia Sushinskaya, 40, was last seen at the Seafood Shack at 4110 127th Street W. in Cortez, the sheriff's office said in a news release. She suffers from schizophrenia and other medical conditions.
When her caretaker brought her to the Seafood Shack Sunday night, Sushinskaya stayed in the car. Then, she moved to the front seat and drove away.
She's driving a 2019 Nissan Sentra with an Indiana license plate that reads FP76554. She has vision problems and doesn't know the area, the sheriff's office added.
Sushinskaya is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She was wearing a black shirt with white dots at the time she went missing.
Anyone with information about her is asked to call 911 or the sheriff's office at 941-747-3011.
