ARLINGTON, MA — Arlington Town Manager Adam Chapdelaine was selected as the next town administrator of Natick Monday night. The Natick Select Board unanimously voted to hire Chapdelaine after a nearly seven-month search. Natick Deputy Town Administrator Jamie Errickson, Concord Deputy Town Manager Kate Hodges and Winthrop Town Manager Austin Faison were also up for the job. The Select Board will now enter negotiations with Chapdelaine before he formally accepts the job. In separate speeches during a Monday special meeting, each Select Board member highlighted the strengths of the four candidates, but several members said Chapdelaine and Errickson were the front-runners. Chapdelaine, 41, lives in Dedham and has been Arlington's town manager since 2012. He previously served as the city administrator in Fall River.
