Press release from the Waterford Public Library: June 14, 2021 Celebrate Make Music Day on Monday, June 21st  at 2:00 p.m. with the Waterford Public Library and listen to the beautiful sound of the harmonica during this special online performance by Jiayi He, World-Class Harmonica Virtuoso!  Mr. He will also introduce the basics of playing the harmonica through a guided lesson.  Participants between the ages of 8-18 years old will each receive their own Hohner harmonica, generously donated by an anonymous donor.  He has received 3rd Place at the International Harmonica Competition in the U.S., 2nd Place at the World Harmonica Championships in Japan and Germany, and has been a featured soloist all over the world.  In addition, He received worldwide exposure as a harmonica player in Season 5 of America's Got Talent!
