We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator Vivalon's friendly and welcoming healthy aging community center in downtown San Rafael. Duties include room setups and breakdown for events & programs, custodial / janitorial work, and light maintenance. Specific duties include furniture movement; maintain cleanliness, sanitary conditions and necessary upkeep for our facilities; monitor and clean restrooms; empty & remove trash and wash / sanitize trash receptacles; sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing; operate wet/dry vacuum for cleaning. Monday-Friday. 11AM- 8 PM. Pay is $23-25/hour (DOE) depending on experience, plus benefits including medical/dental/vision, paid time off, paid holidays, retirement plan, and more. Qualifications: - Experience in facilities, routine maintenance and custodial work - Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance) - Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively with others. - Ability to communicate effectively with employees and vendors - Effective organizational and time management skills. - Ability to read, write, and follow basic written instructions in English **OPEN INTERVIEWS: Tuesdays from 3-4PM & Fridays from 10-11AM** Apply and Interview - All are welcome!
