Dear friends, Readers digest version: New group forming intent on producing good quality music most would enjoy, originally. The long: NO covers whatsoever, we don't need them. Ideally a keyboardist. Piano synth and organ as you can cover a lot of ground. Love good analog tones adore organic piano. Organ too and any other sounds like strings interesting effects etc. Best if you got the left hand thing down covering more ground. Guitar most welcome however beware. This is not a guitar centered project. Guitarists should (like all of us ok?) know when not to play. Creating space for other voices to have say. Play thoughtfully such as a solo without the mindless woodly woo. Or volumes that makes our ears bleed. Vocals? One thing at a time. But hey if you can belt it like no other and have the moves sure! Can you write lyrics? We can too. What to play? Music most would enjoy but should include forms of jazz, funk, rock, latin, soul even symphonic fused. Think rhythmic, melodic, dynamic, contains space, is non-linear as in breaks, changes and or segways. Just be creative. Not into metal, punk, heavy distorted dark abrasive forms or limited genres such as 145 / 12 blues. Including super odd times only musicians understand. Trendy is not our thing. We are most interested in skilled musicians of all kinds. Preferably went to school took lessons comprehends music mechanics. Gives lessons even better. Has solid sense of time, rhythm and pitch. A sense of humor helps a lot. Laughter is good medicine. Don't let the image fool ya, our intent is professional as in producing recordings and live performances. Surely having fun and working with other good caring souls is key : ) Simple, let our combined 'creative' juices meld backed by knowledge. Then let the music grow on it's own as art has a separate soul. Finally let everyone else figure it out. You can call it groove with an edge. What we have to offer? A rhythm section that is tight and dynamic. A free of charge studio with recording equipment to work. Top gear. You can include being sober reliable and prepared.
