Members, join us for a short hike to learn about native plants you can find on our campus and around the region.
Our Director of Land Conservation, Scotty, will lead a short hike our campus to help you identify and differentiate between native and non-native plants, learn a little more about their scientific names, and entertain you with other interesting botanical facts. This hike is open to all members who are interested in learning more about native species!
We are hoping for a bright sunny morning! So be prepared and bring some water, bug spray, sunscreen, your camera or any other supplies you might need for a summer day. We’ll meet at the main Welcome Center parking lot a little before 10:00. See you then!
