Description
Beware of deposits without seeing the pet! Most of them have out of state cellphones and want you to text. Then they want you to give them a deposit to PayPal, Cashapp, or Zelle. I went to 2 of the addresses I was given. And,
guess what? No puppies for sale!
Also, these people are really selling not "rehoming". Which is against Craigslist's rules. If you are "rehoming" it is usually because something happened and you no longer can keep the pet. Rehoming fees usually run from $50-125.
When you legitimately are selling a pet, you take a deposit only after the person has seen the pets and wants to purchase one. The deposit is to hold the pet until they are old enough to leave their Mother... Don't be SCAMMED! Most of the ones I have answered were already eating puppy food.
And, while you are texting them, have them send copies of all vet records. Not one has provided them! They just keep asking for their deposit.
