Press release from the City of Irving: June 14, 2021 Levels Orange and Red Ozone Action Days have been forecast through Thursday, June 17 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. View the forecast.  Children, older adults and people with lung disease, such as asthma, emphysema or chronic bronchitis, should limit outdoor activity when Level Orange is reached. When ozone reaches Level Red, children, older adults and people with lung disease, such as asthma, emphysema, or chronic bronchitis, should avoid outdoor activity, and everyone should limit prolonged outdoor exertion at that time. On Ozone Action Days, help out the environment by implementing clean air strategies.
