TINLEY PARK, IL — Kiss will be rocking out in Tinley Park after all. As the COVID-19 pandemic gradually subsides, the band announced it will be resuming its "End of the Road tour," beginning this August. The rock stars will be making their way to the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre on Sept. 4, according to the band's website. Kiss was initially expected to visit Tinley Park on Sept. 12, 2020, but the coronavirus forced the band to press pause on it last leg of tour. The tour will now include additional concert dates. According to the band, tickets for the newly added dates go on sale to the public this Friday, at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for all previously rescheduled dates are on sale now, including here in Tinley Park. VIP experiences and special Kiss Army fan presales will be offered starting Tuesday at 10 a.m. "Time marched on but we couldn't," Kiss said in a statement. "Now, the boots are on and we're hauling an extra year's worth of pyro, lights and spectacle. We are back! We're pumped and can't wait to celebrate with our biggest, wildest and hottest show ever!" Currently, available tickets in Tinley Park range from $39 to $750. The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre is the only Illinois stop the ban is slated to preform at on tour. Like what you're reading? Their hard rock sound produced numerous gold and platinum albums, such as "Destroyer" in 1976 and "Revenge" in 1992, which climbed into the Top 10 in the U.S. and the Top 20 throughout Europe. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, after selling more than 75 million record around the world. The tour will kick off on August 18 in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
