Description
The Concord Farmers market is one of the oldest markets in the State and has many times been voted the "Best Farmers Market in NH". Founded by a group of Local Farmers in 1981 the first markets were in the parking lot of the former N.H. Savings Bank now the N.H. Attorney Generals Office, the market expanded to Capitol St in 1988.The market has run continuously since then every Saturday morning from 8:30am to noon from early May to the end of October. In 2021 during the peak season we will have approximately 40 vendors at the market, with a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, plants, honey, maple products, cut flowers, wood products, cheeses, dog treats, body care products and of course the super fresh bakery products. Come to the market with a shopping list, or not and just wander about, talk to the vendors, and plan you weekly meals around what is fresh and in season at the market. Meet your friends, talk to neighbors and yes, bring your well behaved pets. The State House plaza is right next door. How many of you can name all of the statues on the plaza? Shop local and support your local farmers and all the downtown merchants.
