FRANKFORT, IL — A Calumet City man has been charged after a road rage incident in Frankfort on Wednesday, police said. A gunshot was fired during the incident, which happened at Route 30 and La Grange Road, according to police. Antoine Berry, 21, was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and carrying/possession of a firearm, according to the Will County jail log. Police Chief John Burica told Patch that police were able to locate Berry and his vehicle after plate information was given by a witness. At least one shot was fired, and there is nothing to indicate that more were fired, he said. Burica said the incident appears to be a random act of road rage, and there is no known connection between the two people. Berry was released Friday, bond was set at $75,000.
