Description
I am an experienced conversion van builder offering classes, advice, help and brainstorming on building live in and recreational vans.
My first van I assembled for less than $4k but it included:
50" TV
Toilet and bidet with 20 gallon septic tank
14 gallons fresh water with full pressure pump, stainless sink and faucet
240w solar electricity in a custom bracket I fabricated, feeding batteries that power a pure sine wave inverter. Mppt charger for the solar, and full in/out color displays for voltages, current, and reserves. Switching from 1kwh lead acid to 6kwh lithium poly and an additional 800 watts of solar (for a/c)
Two folding tables cut, sanded, stained and sealed
Heavy duty large escape hatch up top, welded together by me and can handle 250lbs standing on top of it
4 foot square sun deck 8 feet off the ground
Cell phone extender
Fridge
Stove/oven (propane)
Sleeping above and below inside the fiberglass topper
Winches front and rear
Secure storage
Cameras to monitor the outside
Tie-in to vehicle battery from solar with isolator to keep it charged, and with emergency start switch using the battery bank
I have worked with 100k sprinter vans and $450 dodge vans. I "found myself" in a van and want to help people with their #vanlife rigs from an experienced welder, plumber, electrician, college educated welder, and machinist.
Spent 8 Months in my conversion van, originally intended to spend 2 days- I learned to live with less.
I am reaching out to the community to offer help, advice, maybe even my skills to help you with your van needs.
