Ice America, known for their exciting holiday ice rinks, is hiring fun, energetic people for 2021 Seasonal positions (temporary): Skate Monitors, and Skate Host for the DiscOasis ROLLER SKATING Event in Palos Verdes, CA. The event will be located at beautiful South Coast Botanic Gardens from July 5th-August 31st. with a possibility of extension through November of 2021.
Hours are Tuesday thru Sunday 4:00-10:30PM
We are hiring for the following positions;
SKATE MONITOR: Experienced Skaters, 16yrs & older. Applicants MUST be trained skaters, have their own skates and the ability to skate up to six hours per day. Your resume MUST include your skating background.
SKATE HOST: 16yrs and older. Applicants must have strong customer service skills.
Duties for both potions and not limited to:
-Interacting with customers daily.
-Assisting customers on and off the rink making sure everyone is skating safely.
-Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
-Checking that customers have filled out their online waiver.
-Cleaning the skate rink and rink surface area.
-Handing out rental skates, showing guests how to wear them properly, and storing them properly upon return.
-Following instructions given by the Manager or Supervisor on duty.
