Rock Singer Looking For Band in Santa Fe

It's been a while since I've tried looking, but I thought I'd try again. I've never been in a band that has gotten past the 'practice' stage due to people flaking out. I'm heavily influenced by 90s rock, including Chris Cornell and Alice in Chains, but that's not the only era/genre that I'm interested in. I wouldn't mind either covers or original material. I don't have a vehicle so I prefer a practice area in Santa Fe if possible. I'm experienced at singing karaoke and I'm often asked, "why aren't you in a band?" Well, I've always wanted to be, but I just haven't had that kind of luck. Maybe that will change.
