Description
We are hiring a Field Tech to visit project sites for final inspections and pre/post-construction photographs. Final inspections will require brief interactions with an inspector as well as pre-inspection preparation (setting up letters, attaching permit packs, etc.)
Field Technicians are also responsible for gathering images prior to the install for site surveys. Those chosen for the role will be given training in how to take proper photos and videos of the site. Prior photography or videography experience is a huge plus, and priority will be given to candidates with a photographic skillset.
This is a part-time role that requires excellent communication skills and English fluency. Ideal Candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent on-site performance.
- Lots of training provided.
- A small set of tools and a ladder will be provided.
- The majority of site visits will occur in one of two timeslots: 8 am - 12 pm or 1-5 pm.
- Because every day is different, ideal candidates will be proactive and flexible.
Applicants must be:
- Available at least 3 days a week, including early mornings
- Have a reliable car, and are willing to drive as many as 100 miles a day
- Willing to climb a ladder to go on to a roof to take photos
- Own an iPhone 10 or better, with a functioning camera. Android equivalent also suffices
- Willing to get a little dirty if necessary, and not afraid to go up into an attic to take photos
- Know how to use Google Calendar and other Google Workspace applications
- Able to lift 50lbs and is able to carry a ladder from the car to the house
- Open to learning new processes
