I was at the 99 cent only on Sunset (the one closet to western/sunset) address: 5270 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90027. I saw a Beautiful cream color afghan and 2 homeless women leading it around and trying to feed it milkbones they bought at the 99 cent store. They clearly did not own that $ 1000 dog. The main woman is a black female maybe 5’6-5’7 and normal weight. And there was another white women ( very tan, and 5”1”, very methed out, very skinny) Black female had short curly hair and a camouflaged hat on. I tried to take some pictures from a distance and the black female knew what I was doing and cussed me out. They know it’s not their dog. Attached are the best pictures/video I could get. I’ve personally been a part of rescues with the homeless before and you must take action quickly if you want to get your dog back! This is a common scam in Hollywood, west Hollywood, and Los Feliz. The homeless take the dogs, your pet changes HANDS A FEW TIMES in the homeless encampments, WAITING FOR THE MISSING POSTERS TO GO UP, AND/OR THEY SELL IT IF IT’S AN EXPENSIVE DOG AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE! As this is their way to make money. A dog like this will NOT be used to beg for money. They will sell it. Contact me if you need any further assistance. The last I saw them was around 2:15 p.m. today 6-14-21 sitting out in front of that 99 cent only store. If it’s your dog, bring pics and see if you can get animal control and/or the police out there to scan for your chip. YOU WILL have to prove it’s your dog. Good Luck and I hope you get your dog back.
