Drummer and Guitarist Looking for Musicians

I'm a drummer and my friend (guitar) and I are looking for some musicians to start a new group. We both play in the band Elcia (check us out on Spotify, Apple Music, or Bandcamp if you want) but won't be doing that live anymore as one of our members moved away. We are looking to start a new group in the Portland area. We aren't sure what it's going to be yet but we like anything from softer post-rock kinda stuff to harder, more aggressive rock and metal. I could see us landing somewhere in the Thrice neck of the woods. Hard rock but dynamic and melodic. Some influences include: Thrice, junius, ISIS, Vola, Hum, Failure, Shoegaze bands, Deftones, post metal bands We are looking for a second guitar, a bass player, and a vocalist. We range in age from early 30s to late 30s. We're also both fairly left leaning and aren't looking for any Trumpsters. We will probably practice once a week or so, and will play a show or two here or there. We are both dads and work full time. Not trying to do this for a career. Sorry this isn't more detailed. We aren't even sure what we're looking for yet. We are just coming out of musical hibernation and looking to get some conversations going around a cool new project. Send me any questions you have.
