Bass Player wants Prog

I’m a bassist looking for a band. Progressive rock is my thing, so that would be the ideal situation. Elements of metal, jazz, and funk are cool as long as it ends up prog. I’m from that long-ago era when jamming and improvisation were a way of life. Start-up projects are fine, as are bands needing a bassist to be complete. I can participate in the writing of lyrics, or stay in my lane. I’m not a lead singer, but I can harmonize, or stay in my lane. I will write/re-write all of the bass parts since that is my lane. I have gear, transportation, and a flexible schedule. I’m early-retired, but not looking for a career. Making great music and having fun are the only non-negotiable requirements. I moved to Acworth from Seattle a few months back, and have just recently begun my online search. I’ve met some cool people and heard some awesome music, but no love connection yet. And sadly, I’ve met some folks with no manners or communication skills. Always a shame. I’m serious about music, but not about myself.
