Description
We have a carport in back yard by the alley.
We want to raise it about 7 feet, Roof support cross members are 7.5 feet above the ground and we need it to be 14 feet above the ground,
heavy I beams hold up one end ( house side ) and lighter 4x4 steel square tubing holds up the alley end.
On the house end there is a junk shed that will be removed. It doesn't connect or support carport.
The 4x4 square tubing supports have double pressure treated 2x4's that have security cameras mounted on them ( that is what you see ) strapped to the support tubing.
I'm pretty sure it requires a Building Permit.
Took quite a few pictures to give you a good idea.
