Little Gate Preschool is a licensed, home based preschool program for children 2.5 to six years. We are offer a nurturing environment that supports your child's creativity & imagination, while fostering health social skills, and growing cognitive capacities. Interactions with children are warm, encouraging and positive with clear expectations and positive reinforcement in order avoid difficult discipline challenges. Teacher has many years of experience teaching, and many more of an educator of young children. She hold a degree in early childhood education, a certificate in Waldorf Education and a Master's Degree in Education. Weekly and daily activities include painting, gardening, cooking, arts & crafts, and care of the chickens and ducks. The outdoor play space is a large yard with swings, a play house, slide, and sandbox. Water, and mud play encouraged. Yard lots of trees, including many fruit trees. Gardening is strong part of our week, with planting, harvesting, seed saving, composting and of course foraging. We offer a healthy organic meals.
