Job description We are hiring Recycling Sorters / Route Drivers to sort through commercial recycling bins and separate trash from recycling on a route driving a company provided pickup truck. Entry level position. The ideal candidates for this role will have a regular drivers license (C), as well as have previous experience in roles similar to janitorial, sanitation, busser, dishwasher, sewage, etc. Responsibilities: Recycling Sorters are the leaders of a route. They work alongside Route Crew Members to navigate routes and service clients recycling bins. Both Drivers and Route Crew Members: -Drive company provided Ford F150 trucks -Service trash enclosures/rooms at client property sites -Sort recyclable items -Sweep and maintain enclosure appearance -Load and remove bulk items from bins Qualifications: -Valid driver's license (Commercial license not required) -Clean driving record (1 point or less with approval from company's car insurance) -MUST be at least 23 years old to meet car insurance requirements. -Previous experience in roles similar to janitorial, sanitation, busser, dishwasher, sewage, etc -Able to work the following shift: Monday - Friday from 4:00 am until the route is complete. -Ability to repetitively lift 75+ lbs (furniture, appliances, household items) -Ability to push and pull a wheeled bin weighing 600+ lbs. -Must work well with others and represent Copia Resources Inc professionally -Ability to send emails, text messages and picture messages by cell phone -Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus BENEFITS: -Healthcare / Dental / Vision offer after 60 days -401K Options -Paid Life Insurance -Provided Steel Toe Waterproof Boots on the first day of work Job Type: Full-time Wage: $18.00/hour Growth opportunities are available to candidates who exemplify the core values of Copia Resources.
