Description
I've been keeping this cat for two weeks, everything I've seen points to it being a stray that was dumped, but I'm listing here in a last ditch hope. I'm also looking for a foster/permanent home, I can't keep it and shelters are a last resort.
No collar, no chip, cat has been listed on Louisville Metro’s lost pets site for two weeks, and we’ve posted dozens of places, no owner found. It was treated for fleas (it didn’t seem to have any but we treated the cat just in case) and has been tested and is negative for feline leukemia virus (feLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). Cat has not been dewormed or fixed. Whoever takes it needs to get it fixed, there are many free clinics around here and Louisville Metro animal shelter is giving out vouchers to get it done as well.
This little cutie is the SWEETEST and most chill cat I have ever seen. When you pick it up it literally hugs your neck and snuggles its head against you. I have two little ones and it was absolutely chill hanging out with them, getting tugged and played with. It loves snuggles and pets, but it also has plenty of energy and loves playing with toys.
We love it a lot, but with two kids and two cats already we can’t keep it, and are getting to the point where we may need to take it to a shelter if we don’t find it a home soon. Please help this sweetie out and open your heart to it! If this is your cat, please contact me immediately and provide sex, age, and distinctive markers to identify it. If you might be able to foster this cat possibly to keep long term please contact me immediately. We need to find a home for it soon, even if it’s a foster home while a more permanent situation is found.
