Our Detail Shop Manager manages and coordinates the daily production lines of a high-volume detail shop and manages shop employees. The Detail Shop Manager is a hands-on working manager role and assists in all detailing functions including but not limited to communication with the customer (the auto auction and the auction's customers), scheduling employees, production, payroll, monitors and communicates shift activities, verifies required information and paperwork, orders products, manages inventories, oversees quality control and ensures proper processes are being followed to meet required customer deadlines. A successful Detail Shop Manager will be equipped to correspond frequently via email and a smartphone as well as use other basic technology but also be very comfortable picking up the phone to have conversations with potential employees, the management or the auto auction customer. The Detail Shop Manager is the key to hiring and retaining top-level Automotive Detail Technicians and is responsible for their training including ensuring the technicians follow all safety and housekeeping methods to run a safe and meticulously clean shop. Previous Detail Shop, Paint & Body Shop, Automotive Service or Restaurant Management experience preferred. Salary: $60,000-$65,000 annually plus bonus Apply online. Interviews by appointment only.
