Position Purpose: maintain floors and upholstery products as prescribed by the I.I.C.R.C. standards Functional Responsibilities: • Complete work as assigned • Promote professional image by practicing good personal hygiene and wearing a clean uniform each day • Maintain assigned equipment and vehicles for safe, long term operation • Complete work orders and other paperwork necessary on a timely basis. • Report daily work progress to scheduler after every job or at nigh use voice mail system • Night and weekend work call the on duty supervisor at the beginning of your shift, after every job and at the end of your shift • Immediately report any vehicle or equipment problems to supervisor or on voice mail at night. • Call in for job assignments daily at designated time ( night & weekend technicians ) • Provide on call emergency coverage as requested • Consult and maintain personal MSDS book • Responsible for training level • Perform all work in a safe and professional manner complying with Safety Policies, Standards of Conduct and Maintenance Best Practices. • Report job problems or inability to complete a job to supervisor before leaving job site. • Properly use and secure any gas cards, keys, scan cards, cell phones, etc. issued to you • Make sure you have all chemicals, equipment, supplies, paperwork, maps etc. • Completed all daily audit sheets. Turn them in at the beginning of your shift and at the end of your shift to the assigned supervisor for that day before leaving. • Make sure you have proper directions to all job locations prior to leaving the branch. • Report any accidents or damage to any property including vehicles to management immediately if an injury is involved get medical attention. Fill out accident report and give to office manager within 24 hours • Miscellaneous other duties as assigned by supervisor. Knowledge/Skills/Attributes/Behaviors Needed • HAS A GOOD POSITIVE ATTITUDE • Dedicated to servicing the customer to foster repeat business • Dependable, reports to work on time all the time with very little absentness • Good oral communication skills • Able to work days, evenings, weekends and overtime ( no restricted hours ) • Works well with others • Basic reading and math skills • Has knowledge of and practices safe work practices • Capable of understanding and learning recommended procedures • Acts professionally in all work situations • Has valid driver’s license and abides by Company safe driving policies • Is not under the influence of alcohol or any drug that inhibits the operation of a motor vehicle or equipment • Does not smoke within job site premises or vehicles • Trustworthy to do work unsupervised • Able to understand assignments and complete work independently • Ability to lift 75 pounds, does not have any physical or mental disabilities that would interfere with the ability to perform any of the responsibilities listed above
